Attitude Towards Robotics

Hi friends.this will be my first post on my blog.I would not get into the depth of the topic now itself.As we get started I would like you'll to remember that this is my passion and I hope everyone who follows my blog will have the same attitude.I have seen many friends of mine who made robots for fame,out of boredom,to impress girls.The very fact that you'll have spent your valuable time on searching for my blog and reading this instead of checking your notifications on facebook shows that youll are quite interested in this field.I have started this blog as this is such a  confusing field and hobby that a beginner gets easily lost in this vast expanse of the knowledge available on the internet.
 IF AT ANY TIME IF YOU GET THIS QUESTION IN YOUR MIND"WHY SHOULD I DO LIKE THIS AND NOT LIKE THAT?"dont bother asking somebody.Do it the other way and actually see what happens.At max you will short circuit the battery.There will be a few sparks and things might get hot.But the experience you will gain by doing this is immense.So dont be scared to try out new things.When things really get confusing dont lose hope.Hang on to it for longer and give it your best shot.        
       If you feel things are going off the topic I am sorry for that but the kind of attitude and approach you have towards robotics plays a very important factor in how far you will go in this field.
          As far as my experiences are concerned I have took part in various college fests including NIT Warangal.I have been successful in making a line follower bot,a soccer bot,an all terrain bot and some more manual bots.Right now I am preparing to participate in IIT Bombay,IIT Kanpur and the ABU ROBOCON for which my college has granted me funds in excess of Rs.1 lakh.My experience in participating in all these competitions has taught me one thing.Time management is the most important thing here.You want take a week off before starting the work but you first sit and write down all your resources and try to utilize them to the maximum for eg. the team members,the task,the components required,deadline,funds and then divide the work among the team members and then start the work.Take your time to think of a brilliant design and idea.PLEASE DONT DO ANYTHING FOR THE SAKE OF DOING IT.START YOUR WORK ONLY WHEN YOU FEEL YOU HAVE AN AWARD WINNING DESIGN IN HAND.Have confidence in yourself and your design.When i made my soccer bot and my all terrain bot i can surely say that both were the best designs(yes.it was the best  design even in NIT warangal for which they gave me a certificate)Dont just start of with stupid ideas.Instead get good ideas and then work hard to achieve it.
          Thats all for now.Will post soon.In the next post I will be starting of with the basics of robotics.So buckle up friends.I promise that i wont let you'll down and it will be a roller coaster.Till then HAPPY BLOGGING.
